I'm at the beach this week. Writing to you from the couch looking at the dunes. It was super hot when we first got there. I got a really bad burn on my left hand. It felt like an oven burn. It was awful. Clearly, I don't know how to put on sunscreen. When we first got here, my Mom, brother and I went on a chartered boat to distribute my Dad's ashes in
the ocean. He loved the Outer Banks and it seemed like the right thing to do. My Mom felt really good about it, which is most important to me. We read a poem and threw in flowers. It was nice. And hot. LOL. And now my hand is all rashy and red. Meh. Oh well!Â
