I hope you
are having an amazing week and weekend.
I completely missed sending you the newsletter this past Thursday! I was heads down Monday and Tuesday creating new content around body shape and... well, a new course series I'll announce it next week. I was so intent on getting it done that I
burned out. So, I closed my laptop on Wednesday and did some art. On Thursday, I was invited to a girlfriends' PJ Holiday-Hallmark Movie bonanza with brunch food and bubbly. It was super fun. But I completely forgot to send the newsletter! and now it's Saturday. Whoops.
Color + Fit = Fabulous
Shape and Style are coming to Your Color Style. It's always been here, but learning your color type has been the main focus. Starting in January, you're going to start seeing more balanced content.
You'll still see content around helping you to learn your best colors. In addition, you will see content around learning your body shape and styling it. Learn to combine your colors with the fit that flatters your shape. You are going to look like a million bucks! Now, imagine
pulling in your personal style! Boom.
Pulling these pieces together into a cohesive wardrobe that you love can be overwhelming. It's fun to learn but not always the most intuitive to put into practice. That's why Style Masters is here. To help you pull outfits and complete looks together in your best colors and in clothes that flatter you shape... and most importantly express who you are. So much fun.
Right now, you can learn your body shape and the basics of styling your shape to enhance what you want and minimize other areas. Get the course "How To Style Your Body Shape". Even if you don't join Style Masters, you'll know your colors and your shape. When you apply both when choosing clothes to wear, you will look amazing.
Color + Fit = Fabulous
I've also added the course "How To Create A Capsule Wardrobe", if you're interested. This is a great resource to learn how to shop smarter and to have a mix and match wardrobe.
And now... please enjoy the rest of the newsletter below...
Rose Violet and Amazon Green are a bright and cool-toned gals dream. Of the two, those
with warmer tones will do better with Amazon. Rose Violet is sort of a bright fuschia-raspberry pink, but is short of being neon. Amazon is a bright and clear true green that is pretty universal. Let's put together some outfits that use these two shades!
Each of these bold colors beg you to "go for it" head to toe. Choose a solid dress and then add a topper in the same shade, but a different texture. This gives a
rich and sumptuous look. Keep it going with matching shoes, and you are all in on the look!
This month's
color palette is based on two trending colors of the season. Rose Violet and Amazon Green. I am seeing these two colors everywhere in stores right now.
Rose Violet is a cool magenta pink and will good on anyone that has cool undertones. Amazon Green is a neutral green that isn't too bright or too soft. It's just right and perfect for
everyone. Ok, everyone except maybe those who have olive skin tone. In that case, wear the Rose Violet.
