Happy Thursday!
Sharing a whimsical art journal page from my
new art course "Whimsical Cities". If you love to art journal, create art, or want to start art journaling, you may really enjoy this course. As you may know, I create art in my "spare time". It's a huge part of my life and who I am, so I hope it's ok that I share with you every once in a while.
It's been pretty low key since I've gotten back from Disney. Next week, Tuesday, I go in for an endoscopy and colonoscopy to see if there's anything to diagnose my GI issues. We'll see. I'm doing ok, btw. Thank you for all the nice emails.
I'm currently writing 2 books that I hope to get published onto Amazon by the end of the month. One is the book version of Color Harmony since it has been such a success and the second is a color analysis book for
women with grey hair. I need a title! Ideas?
And... one more thing before you dive into the newsletter below, I am looking for speaking and presentation opportunities this year. I love speaking and sharing my presentations and would love to speak to your group. I am looking to do a presentation
on the 3 steps to discovering your most flattering colors. Online or in person. Just reply to this email if you know of a group or contact. Thank you in advance.
And now.... scroll down to enjoy this week's newsletter.
Ways to Wear the February Color Palette of the Month
Baby, it’s cold outside, for most parts of the country anyway. Although
some parts of the country will see some February days that remind us Spring is coming. So it’s a great time to talk about options for layering, keeping warm when needed, and the option to remove a layer if needed. The February “Your Color Style” Color Palette has some great shades to look for in these pieces.
Trying to figure out if you are bright cool and light? Or
maybe you're stuck between bright cool light and bright cool medium? Or between bright cool light and soft cool medium. Watch this video to understand the key characteristics of the bright cool and light color type.
LEARN What Colors Flatter You (aka Your Color Style Type)
I am a HUGE believer that the more you know about color, the more you know the colors that flatter you best. LEARNING is key to understanding what colors really work for you.
Once you know your color type, you'll want your complete color palette in your
hand so that you can start to edit your wardrobe and shop with confidence.
