I wanted to pop into your inbox today to welcome
you into April and share with you what to expect this month in Your Color Style.. At the beginning of the month, there is a lot of new things that happen. If you're new to Your Color Style, then you'll find this email helpful.
At a high level, he's what you'll discover this month. Then
scroll down to learn the details on these:
New color palette of the month. This color palette is based on the trending colors of this season. The trending spring colors from Pantone are light and bright. Super fun but challenging for some to wear.
Style Masters: your style notebook has the full Pantone color charts plus the equivalent color swatches in your color palette, so you'll know which colors are ideal for you when shopping.
New weekly color changes are scheduled and posting in the Your Color Style Facebook group. This is a great way to play with what you have and
try something new.
Color inspiration cards. Each color type has a printable page of 9 cards. Each card has a mini 4-color palette that uses the trending colors, colors from the color palette and neutrals. Use these for inspiration, to identify patterns in stores and to try something new. These are included with the Style Masters
membership.
The new color fans will ship this month. Hopefully in another week. More details about these below.
New "levels" are being designed for each color type. These levels are designed to help you find your BEST colors within your color palette. To truly customize your colors so
that they are absolutely perfect for you. All the colors in your color palette will flatter you, but there are some that will be completely amazing and others that will be OK. Learning your level (1, 2 or 3) will help you find that sweet spot. This is an advanced concept to help you learn HOW to wear your colors. New color palettes have been created. This
means new color fans, new color wheels, new color guides and new digital color palettes. We still have the same 12 color types, but all of the colors have been updated. If you are new to Your Color Style, this will not impact you much, but if you've been a follower for a while, you're going to want to know what's different and how the changes affect you.
I have been creating videos to explain my process in creating the color wheels which are the colors I then use to create the color palettes. Please watch them. If you are a total geek about color and color theory, then you're going to love these videos:

New Color Fans

Here's what you need to know about this new release.
The bright and soft color wheels have been reworked so that they align. This impacts the number of colors in the new color fans. In some cases, you may notice a few less colors but you'll notice a more even array of colors, like more blues.
The colors in the bright color fans are similar but in some cases are different because the color wheel changed. You will not be able to compare a previous color fan to these. It will simply drive you crazy.
The soft color palettes are getting the most change. They haven't been updated in quite a
while. I've cleaned up the color wheel, added in blues, and brightened up the soft and warm color palettes. Again, you will not be able to compare the new fans to the previous because the color wheel has significantly changed. This is a major update.
There is nothing wrong with your current color fans. Just like other products in the market, I have made updates and improvements based what I've learned over the year and
feedback from customers. There will not be any process of exchanging your current fan for a new one. However, I am offering a very nice discount for pre-orders.
I know that many of you will want to know what is specifically different between the fan you have now and the new one. This will not be an easy question to answer because it's not as simple as I replaced these colors or updated only these colors. I think all the colors have been touched in some way. I
have been creating a videos walking you through my process of creating these new color palettes. I think this will answer most of the questions.
I will also be creating video flip-throughs of each color fan. So, you'll get a bit of a preview of the colors before purchasing.
NEW Digital Color Palettes. All of the digital color palettes have been updated to align with the new color fans. These are one-page color palettes with the colors watches and color names. These color palettes include the
neutrals. You can shop for these now. It's an easy way to see the color palettes before investing in a color fan. STYLE MASTERS: All of the digital color palettes are included in the Style Master Library. Filter by color type to see them.
New Color Wheels
The digital versions of the new color wheels are located in the Style Masters Library. I will be posting new posters
of these in the next week or so.
New Color Guides
New color guides are coming to align with the new color fans. The color guides listed on the site now are for the bright (003) color fans and the soft (002) color fans. Those numbers are part of the SKU on the back of your color fan. That's how you can tell which version you
have. The new color fans will all have 004 in the SKU.
The new color guides will break down your color palette in different ways to help you understand HOW to wear your colors based on your personality and scenario. You will also discover info on your signature colors, like your blushing, grounding
and power colors. These guides will also have larger digital color swatches. I will announce when these are ready. STYLE MASTERS: the color guides are included with your membership and will be located under your color type in the Style Masters library.
New Color Type Levels
Gail and I are working on an enhancement within each color type to help you know where you should be hanging out in your color palette. All of the colors in your color palette should flatter you, but there will be some colors that are AMAZING on you and others that are OK. This sweet spot of
color may be different between two people that are the same color type. Your sweet spot of color is based on your color type level. This concept, along with a special guide, will be released to Style Masters in April. So exciting!!
This is an advanced concept and only available to Style Masters and Consultants. It's the HOW to wear your color palette best based on your specific tones and personality. I'm really excited about this concept. So, once you learn your color type, hop on over to Style Masters to learn HOW to wear your colors and pull your style together.
