Happy Thursday!
I hope you are having a great week. My week has
been a bit consumed with injuries. Joe slipped and fell in a hotel bathroom Saturday morning smashing his ribs into the edge of the sink. No fracture but very bruised and sore. So, I've been doing a lot more in the house to keep him from overdoing it. BUT I wrenched my left shoulder 10 days ago working out with heavy weights. Overdid it and I've been in sharp pain ever since. Went to the orthopedic yesterday and I have rotator cuff tendinitis, swelling in the AC joint and bicep tendinitis. Oh
yeah. It's a good thing I work out to feel strong. LOL. I got a cortisone shot in my AC joint. :-( it hurt. Ow. And physical therapy starts next week to heal the rest. I swear it seems like I am always telling you about my aches and pains!! Such is the midlife woman's body. I'm noticing injuries happen more easily and healing seems to be an event.
BUT I do have some positive news!! I have updated the DIY Online Color Analysis course with all new content. The video tutorials now follow the updated Your Color Style methodology. (1. Value, 2. Temperature, 3. Chroma). I created new color wheels that reflect each of these steps so
that you can more easily discover your color type. If you are current enrollee of this course, you can log back in and see all the new content. I have also created a video showing you how it easy it can be to learn your color type. Watch the video here. You'll see the video along the left side of this
page.
And now.... scroll down to enjoy this week's newsletter.
This month's color palette is based on the two trending colors Peach Pink and Leek Green. Peach Pink is a very pretty pink that will look great on everyone. Leek Green is a soft muted yellow green. Ideal for someone that is soft and warm.
Last month's color palette was dominantly
warm, so I made an effort to bring more cool colors into the mix. The trending colors this season are bright and warm, so it's a challenge to create balanced color palettes for you.
You have a nice range of blues, greens and purples for the cool colors.
Do you have questions about your color type? Stuck between light and medium or medium and deep? Not sure if you are bright or soft? Wondering why certain colors
aren't flattering you?
Post your photo and ask your questions on the next Color Type Clarity Wednesday. You get to ask Jen, directly, your questions about your colors and color type.
Jen will make sure that you know your color type and your level.
Color Clarity Wednesday is the first Wednesday of each month. This service is exclusive to active Style Masters members.
I am a HUGE believer that the more you know about color, the more you know the colors that flatter you best. LEARNING is key to understanding what colors really work for you.
H - Hold your color palette and start editing your wardrobe
Once you know your color type, you'll want your complete color palette in your hand so that you can start to edit your wardrobe and shop with confidence.
