Happy Thursday!
I hope you are having an amazing week. How was
your Mother's Day? Mine was good but eventful. Mindy, my daughter (21), who is currently working as a vet tech for an animal hospital in Mississippi was mauled by a dog on Sunday. She was bitten several times from her right elbow to her hand to protect her face and neck. She was also bitten in the hip and leg. It was awful and traumatizing. My poor girl. She's ok, but healing with limited mobility in her arm. Needless to say, she put in her notice this past Monday. She was already planning on
moving back to Virginia, but this moved the timeline up. I'll be going down there in June, when I get back from my cruise to move her home. Whew. Nothing's worse than hearing your kid is hurt and you can't be there. Ya know?
If you recall, last week I texted
my 4 "kids" yesterday. Jack (20), Mindy (21), Matthew (23) and Kay (22) the following message...
"On Mother's Day, I require the following:
Dairy free chocolate cake, several rounds of cards
and a musical performance."
Matthew and Kay brought me a vegan chocolate cake, played cards with me AND Matthew played the guitar for a while. Pretty good! Mindy called and sang to me but it was awful. Truly. LOL.
We had our bonus call on Levels for Style Masters last night.
Kay says "The bonus call on levels was GREAT! The more I learn in YCS, the more I enjoy colors and feel confident in my
color choices!"

the season. As always, if you love any of these garments and enjoy wearing them, KEEP WEARING THEM! And feel free to comment on what you love and what you don’t.
Trying to figure out if you are bright cool and deep? Or maybe you're stuck between bright cool deep
and soft cool deep? Or between bright cool deep and bright warm deep. Watch this video to understand the key characteristics of the bright cool and deep color type.
This month's color
palette is based on the new spring/summer trending colors for 2023. Beetroot Purple and Love Bird are the main 2 colors that this color palette is based on. Beetroot is a bright magenta pink, perfect for bright and cool types. Love Bird is a bright green. Together, they create a dynamic color combo and are the inspiration for this months' color palette.
