Happy Thursday!
What a week!
On a health note, I have Covid. I traveled to Paso Robles, CA and had a wonderful time tasting delicious wine. So beautiful there. Got a really bad cold for the plane ride home. Just assumed it was a bad cold. But, I've been extremely tired this week. Sleeping way more than normal. Even Joe commented that he's never seen me sleep so much. I'm very short
of breath. So, I tested and yep... Covid. I'm ok. No fever. Just extremely tired.
I'd like to congratulate my newest YCS Color Consultants. Angel Dyke, Karen Konency, Tamara Leicester and Kathy Anderson. You'll see them listed on our Find a Color Consultant page. I'm so very proud of them. If you're interested in become a Color Consultant as a side gig or a new career, check out my Color Consultant program.
Our Fall 2023 Style Guide has dropped. It's kinda awesome. Gail Scott has pulled together an inspiring guide and
collection to kick off your Fall Wardrobe. I'm personally in love with the Bright and Warm section... especially a certain pair of shoes. Love. Style Master Members - go download it right now! It will be in the library for only a couple days.
The theme in Style Masters for September is Fall Style. Gail and will be sharing:
I can rock a warm mustard but my foundation is always neutral
If you can rock wearing mustard then you very likely have warm undertones. Your foundation can still be neutral with warm undertones. Watch the video for Jen's explanation.
Do you have questions about your color type? Stuck between light and medium or medium and deep? Not sure if you are bright or soft? Wondering why certain colors
aren't flattering you?
Post your photo and ask your questions on the next Color Type Clarity Wednesday. You get to ask Jen, directly, your questions about your colors and color type.
Jen will make sure that you are confident in your color type and your level. Please note that I will not be color typing you. You need to know your undertones before posting.
Color Clarity Wednesday is the first Wednesday of each month. This service is exclusive to active Style Masters members.
Our goal is to help you stylishly express who you are so that you look and feel vibrant, authentic and confident.
I am going to walk you through our S.H.I.N.E. framework. This framework is your journey map. It will help you discover and customize a color palette that is uniquely you and then give you a foundation for learning
how to pull flattering outfits together in your personal style and best colors.
I am a HUGE believer that the more you know about color, the more you know the colors that flatter you best. LEARNING is key to understanding what colors really work for you.
Once you know your color type, you'll want your complete color palette in your hand so that you can start to edit your wardrobe and shop with confidence.
