I have some disappointing news about the long awaited color wheels. 

I got them in stock yesterday and I was bouncing around the office with excitement... until I went over to my warehouse to play with them. 

I eagerly dove into one of the boxes, spilling over with new, fresh color wheels... picked up the bright one... and... meh.

This is not the product I imagined. LOVE the design, but the quality is poor. There was definitely a miscommunication between me and the printer. I'm taking full responsibility for this problem and having them redone.

I can not ship you these color fans knowing that you are not receiving a high quality product. These look more like prototypes than a premium product. Flimsy... they won't last with active use.

What does this mean for you? If you pre-ordered a color wheel, Sharon and Mandy will be in touch with you personally and will be setting your order status back to "on hold". I hope you wait for the better product. The color wheels are going to be amazing tools to create stylish color combinations. The wait will likely be 2 to 3 weeks. I will keep you posted.

In full transparency, I've never produced a product like this before. When the process is new, you don't always know the right questions to ask. You can imagine the disappointment Joe and I both had when we saw these. Joe loves the design too and said "We're eating the cost and doing this right. We have to do this right." I love that man.

I hope you understand and stick with me on this. In the meantime, I'm going to create some videos on how to use the color wheel in fun ways using the "prototypes".
