Happy Sunday!

I hope you are having an amazing week and weekend.

This week, my ex-husband called to tell me that he has accepted a job in Colorado. That's on the opposite side of the country from Virginia. Mindy has chosen to stay with me. Her life is here with her friends, high school and me! OMG, I would be crushed if she wanted to go. She's like my best friend. Matt will also stay because he has college this fall. So, their Dad is leaving within the next couple of weeks with his wife and her 3 kids... and my 2 move in with me full time. They're already moving their stuff from their Dad's to here.

Matt's been sick. Fever. Since Wednesday. He's better. Doc says it's a sinus infection. Joe, Mindy and I went shopping yesterday. Mindy had to get an outfit for a fake job interview at school. All sophomores have to do this. Mindy loves it when I shop for her because... well... her mom's an image consultant. And, let me just say, she's gonna look a-ma-zing. Draping cream blouse, black skinny pants with little white dots and a blush pink one button blazer. Black chunky heels. Sooooo pretty. I'll take a pic!

Q&A –I’m a soft winter but why can’t I wear dark colors?

Question: Is it possible to be deep soft and medium? I was typed as a soft winter. I have brown almost black hair and medium olive skin (medium value contrast, low color contrast), and I look great in some light pastels and some winter true colors (true blue etc), but the deep colors look HORRIBLE on me and they are supposed to look great on Winters, so I am wondering is it possible to be medium instead of deep? Or is it possible to have dark hair and not be made for deep colors?

Oscars 2018: The color Jennifer Garner should have worn?

For the Oscars 2018, Jennifer Garner wore a stunning bright royal blue dress. It really was a gorgeous dress. The shape was flattering on her and the color was breathtaking.

The color was beautiful, but I did not love it on her.
