[Your Color Style] New Videos, Stretching Yourself and more...

Happy Sunday!!!
Joe and I got back from Disney on Wednesday. It was super hot for this time of year. But we had a blast. We lapped World Showcase at Epcot twice over two days. This is where the Food and Wine Festival is. We hugged Minnie Mouse and rode rides at Magic Kingdom. We relaxed at Wilderness Lodge, because I love that place! And we saw Giraffes wandering about in the Safari. It was a great time.
We kicked off November with new trending color guides in the ColorStyle Membership. I'll share some outfit ideas next week in those colors.
Enrollment has opened for the professional certification program. Enrollment will only be open until January 13th. Access to the course and the LIVE training calls will begin January 6th. I am limiting the enrollment window so that I can spend the year focusing on your success.
Right now, through November, you can save $300 off your enrollment fee. The fee will go up to full price starting December 1st. So, if you're considering joining us in January, don't miss out on this huge discount.
Go here to see all the details. If you're passionate about color, color analysis and love the idea of having your own business based on your passions... then click here to learn more and enroll today.
There is a LOT of questions about the new color fans in the Facebook group. So, I started creating videos to give you insight to each individual color fan. Everyone seems to love them and I wanted to make sure you saw them too. There are 5 videos on the page right now. I'm recording more videos today. There will be one video for each color fan. Even if yours isn't
posted yet, I think you're going to enjoy the others because it's always fun to learn!
This post is in response to the questions I've been getting around the certification program and ways to make money with Your Color Style. There are a few ways you can make money with Your Color Style. If you’re interested in learning how to make some extra money, wanting to start your own business or are just curious… I’ve listed out the different ways you can make
money with us.
If you want to grow, improve, be better, learn something... there is a certain amount of discomfort involved. If you're not stepping into being uncomfortable, then you're not growing. If it's easy, then you're likely in your comfort zone and staying exactly where you are.
You might ask, "Well what's wrong with staying the same?"
Nothing is "wrong" with the staying the same, but we are creative beings of change. Even when you think you are staying the same, you're not. You are changing whether you want to or now.
The real question is, "Which direction are you changing?"
Are you stretching and growing and moving towards a new goal? Or are you declining, feeling low energy and not really excited about each day? It's your choice.
Everyday, since my hip surgery, I go through about 20 minutes of stretching. This ranges from uncomfortable to a little painful. It is NOT fun. But I know that this short bit of discomfort will make me more flexible in the long term and help prevent injuries. I'm also kinda liking the idea of being able to do the splits. Why not?
I'm literally stretching to grow. But anything worth doing and learning is going to feel uncomfortable at first. Anything new is going to feel "hard" and your ego is going to talk you out of it. Be aware of that inner voice that tells you that it's no big deal if you don't walk today. It's too cold outside. I'm too tired. It's too early. Too late. I'm not feeling well. My muscles are sore.
When you're learning about your colors, try wearing a color you've never worn before. It's going to feel a little uncomfortable. You may hear your inner voice tell you that there's nothing wrong with the colors you've been wearing. Jen's crazy and this isn't a big deal. That color's too bold for you. What will people say? What if they don't like me in it? Oh, you know this voice. Ignore it. Do it anyway.
Love yourself enough to push yourself, to stretch and grow. When I get up at 5am each morning, it's tough. I'm tired and I hear my ego telling me to go back to bed. But I get up. I have some coffee, put on my sneakers and go outside. It's been super cold lately. Another excellent excuse to not get up at 5am and go running/walking. I am NOT comfortable. But I do it anyway. Afterwards, I feel great. Still cold, but I did it. I overcame my ego. I embraced being uncomfortable. And I'm a little
stronger that day.
What is one thing you can do differently that will stretch you?

A few years ago, I found myself divorced, grieving over losing my oldest daughter and truly lost. I had forgotten what it was like to have true joy in my life. Did I ever really know? I didn't know who I was or what truly made me happy.
As I went through the process of learning about myself, I founded Your Color Style. Identifying the colors that make you feel amazing is a simple step you can take to build your confidence. Color transformed my life. It is now my mission to help you get through whatever transition is going on in your life through color.
