What a beautiful weekend! I hope you're having an amazing week. This morning, after I send you this newsletter, I'm off to go watch Matt (my son) compete in his first gymnastics meet of the season. It's always fun to watch him tumble and flip. He's 19, btw. So, this stuff gets serious... and scary to watch.
I finally get to wear some of my sweaters. I love dressing in the colder weather so much more than the summer and spring. You're going to notice that the next 3 weeks will be highlighting different shades of orange. It's a really popular color this season and you will see it everywhere. So, I want to make sure you know how to shop for it and wear it. Plus, it's October and orange is everywhere! So, I hope you have fun with the outfit ideas I share.

I have a Q&A video for you from a viewer that has red hair and grey-blue eyes. This seems to be a popular topic lately. At least for me, because I've been lots of similar questions around the brighter red hair and the soft cool eye combo. You'll learn a lot, even if you don't have red hair.

Dark Cheddar is a beautiful orange color. It really does remind me of cheddar cheese. It's pretty bold. If you can handle bold colors, then you're going to love wearing Dark Cheddar this season.

I am so excited about these. I have spent hours on each color palette. There are 12 different color fans. One for each color type. I tweaked each color palette to be just right. I added in-between colors where I felt there was too much of a gap. I adjusted colors to better suit a color type vs just copying and pasting from the main color fan. I created colors that I felt were missing. I broke some rules because some colors just work for a
particular color type. For example, I added a grey green to the Soft Cool and Deep color palette. It's not in the original color Soft & Cool fan. I removed colors and neutrals that I just didn't think were best and only included the those that work well.
Some fans have a couple pages of AVOID. Not every fan has this but I felt it necessary for a few. For example, Bright, Cool and Light wears a light lemon yellow really well. But, it's easy to confuse that with too warm of a yellow. So, I added an AVOID page for the too warm yellows.

The fans are in production. We ordered different screw fasteners that are a little stronger.
