[Your Color Style]3 Ways To Wear, Grey Hair, Feeling Lost and more...
Published: Sun, 02/16/20
Happy Sunday!
Lately, I've been having this sensation of feeling lost. I wake up and work out. Eat breakfast, etc. And then... I'm not exactly sure what to do with my self. I feel lost. Can you relate?
I used to panic when I felt this way. What's wrong with me? I should be doing something. Now, I try to stay present, do things I know I enjoy doing (like drawing or painting) and do my best to not stress about not knowing what to do next. Because it always comes.
I don't stress about it anymore because I learned what was happening. Your spirit is always wanting to expand. It's always reaching for more. Sometimes, I think, we think this is a bad thing. But it's not. It's natural. You're human. So, you set a goal for yourself. You may not even know you've set a goal. But you have. For example, if you're dating someone you really like, you begin to aim for love, commitment. Maybe you have financial goals. You want to know your color type. The goal is
really the next thing in your life you plan on meeting. So, everything about your life becomes defined by this goal. It's what you want.
So, what happens when you get it? The goal has been met. You partner proposes. You get a raise at work. You learn your color type. You get on live TV (that's me). So, now what? If you don't understand what's happening, you begin to feel lost. And then you stress about feeling lost. After all, you just got what you wanted. Shouldn't you be feeling happy and fulfilled? This is why marriages have a rocky start their first year. The goal was to get married... the goal has been met. Now
what?
You redefine yourself. You are no longer the person that's been struggling to figure out her colors. You are now a person who knows her colors. So, now what? Now, maybe you become the person who helps other people learn their colors. Or maybe you become a person who knows how to wear her colors in surprising ways. Maybe you design your home around your
colors. Pick the next project.
For me, I am now someone that does live TV segments about color. So, what's next for me? More public speaking gigs. More TV segments. Larger audiences. I want to help as many people as I can this year. For me, it's more. Because my creative spirit wants to express herself with live appearances. For you, it may not be "more". It may be something
different. If you're feeling a little lost, like me, it's ok. Focus on what you really want to become and what might be the next step to get there.

as much as you love them.
A few years ago, I found myself divorced, grieving over losing my oldest daughter and truly lost. I had forgotten what it was like to have true joy in my life. Did I ever really know? I didn't know who I was or what truly made me happy.
As I went through the process of learning about myself, I founded Your Color Style. Identifying the colors that make you feel amazing is a simple step you can take to build your confidence. Color transformed my life. It is now my mission to help you get through whatever transition is going on in your life through color.
