Happy Sunday!
It's been a really nice holiday weekend here in the US. There was a LOT of street fireworks last night. Way more than usual but all of our fireworks shows were cancelled due to the pandemic. The house has been quiet. Matt and Mindy are in Colorado visiting their Dad. I've taken this time to produce content for you, creating art and hanging out with Joe.

Quick update about the Facebook Group. The new color challenge schedule has been posted for July. Please join our community. It's a lot of fun! I'm retiring the Creative Color Challenge group. It was fun and I think there are about 20 or so challenges in there. But I'm having a hard time staying on top
of multiple groups. Plus, it seems a bit redundant, now that we have a schedule of color prompts in the Your Color Style FB group.

Yesterday morning, I completed my weekly long run. I ran 8 miles. I felt great when I completed. Endorphins are amazing. But an hour later, I crashed big time. This morning, I am super sore. But I'll be stronger for the next long run, right? Becoming a long distance runner (longer than 3 miles) required me to shift my mindset. I used to run shorter distances and focus on finishing. Constantly checking my watch, counting down the distance to home and pushing myself. It wasn't fun. I realize,
now, that I was trying to be someone that I'm not. Prove something, maybe?
But for a longer run, it's easy to burn out with that attitude. I've learned to sink in to the journey. Play music that I like, listen to some personal development audio, choose routes that are scenic and be ok with however long the run takes. If I'm going to be running for over an hour, I might as well enjoy the journey. I feel more like me with this process and mindset. This is one way I creatively express my authentic self. And creativity is not a
competition.
There are some profound life analogies here... I'll let you discover them. :-)

Your Color Style Journey
Why is it important to know if you're Bright or Soft?
In the Your Color Style system, the first step is to figure out if you wear bright colors best or soft muted colors best. In this video, I explain why this is important to know before continuing with the color analysis quiz.
In the color analysis quiz, step one is figuring out if you are bright or soft. Do you wear bright colors best or soft muted colors best? This video shows you lots of photos to help you know if you are soft in Your Color Style.

Our mission is to help you express your authentic self though color and creativity.
A few years ago, I found myself divorced, grieving over losing my oldest daughter and truly lost. I had forgotten what it was like to have true joy in my life. Did I ever really know? I didn't know who I was or what truly made me happy.
As I went through the process of learning about myself, I founded Your Color Style. Identifying the colors that make you feel amazing is a simple step you can take to build your confidence. Color transformed my life. It is now my mission to help you get through whatever transition is going on in your life through color... so that you can feel more like you again.
