Happy Sunday!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Joe and I had fun walking around Middleburg, VA yesterday. It's a super cute strip of shops nested in historic Middleburg. It was a beautiful sunny day. We ended the day with some wine and dinner at our favorite restaurant, Ahso.
I have now had time to breath. Think. I have started working on my goals and vision for next year. Which has almost everything to do with you! The ColorStyle Membership is a bit dry right now. I want to make this a focus for next year. Adding in some of fun and playfulness that I think is missing right now. Just an FYI... my personal "Jen' mission statement is tentatively:
"I help women find their unique self through playful creative expression."
This goes beyond wearing your best colors. I have reconnected with myself through play. Trying new things. Exploring what I really enjoy doing and expressing myself through that. I LOVE drawing and painting and art journaling. The more I do, the more I learn, the more I express my true self... the more connected I am to my soul... the happier I am. It can be the same experience for you... maybe it's cooking.... nature... exercise... crafts... what part of you do you desire to reconnect
with? What would your 8-year old self say? This is why I am hosting the 21-Day Journey To Your True Self in January. I want to give you tips, knowledge and exercises to help you get closer to your essence... your playful 8-year old self... your true self.
Back to the ColorStyle Membership... starting in December, I'm going to be adding a color journaling layer to the membership. It's completely optional, but if you love color and you want to play along... this can be a lot of fun. The types of things you'll see will be a video of me mixing primary/secondary paints to create the colors of the month. This will teach you a LOT about color
theory and why a color might be good for you or not. We will also explore color combinations. PLUS, a fun creative exercise for non-artists. And fun for you if you are into art. This is me, adding a core piece of ME to the membership. And I truly hope this excites you! And if it's not your thing, no worries. You'll still all the amazing benefits you currently get. You can also just watch the videos and not actually do anything :-)
