Happy Thursday!
Today, I get my second shot of the vaccine. I will be complete! Yay. Hopefully, it won't wipe me out for 2 days like the last one but we'll see. Memorial Day weekend is coming up. The last Monday of May, we honor those who have died in active military service. It is a holiday in the US and it marks the beginning of summer. Willow is a soft olive green. It is a warm color and looks best on individuals that can wear warm colors. Warm individuals can wear this color best. If it is too soft for you wear it as a bottom or accessory.
In Case You Missed It: Understanding Contrast in Color Analysis
Contrast plays an important role in deciding your color type and the types of colors that flatter you. Understanding contrast can help you understand why some patterns or combinations of colors just don’t feel right, while others feel perfect.
The recordings for December, January, February and March are in the members only area, if you missed them. If you would like to attend the live parties and/or watch the recordings, please consider joining the ColorStyle Membership. Your photo submissions to the Ask Jen page take priority over the other submissions. I will pull 3 to 5 ColorStyle member submissions to review live at each party.
I am so excited about the changes happening for the ColorStyle Membership. I will list below what you begin receiving starting July 1st.
I am moving the membership to Teachable. Starting July 1st, all new content will be delivered to you on the new membership site.
I'm currently a ColorStyle Member, what will I need to do?
If you are currently a ColorStyle Member, in June, you will want to cancel your current membership and sign up on to the new site. I will send an announcement with the link and a coupon for your first month free on the new platform. I know that asking you to cancel on YourColorStyle.com and resubscribe on another platform is an inconvenience, so I hope that the coupon will ease the pain a bit. My
support team is here to help you in the transition if you can't figure something out. I will send more details on exactly what to do starting next week.
What will the monthly fee be?
The monthly fee to join the ColorStyle Membership is $12.97/month. That is the current fee to subscribe to ColorStyle Membership. I'm stating this because you may have a grandfathered in at a lower fee. That will not carry over to the new platform. The ColorStyle membership fee is officially $12.97/month, which will be an increase for some of you and the same for others.
What if I don't want to move to the new platform?
If you do not wish to cancel your membership on YCS and sign up on the new Teachable platform, you don't have to. Your current membership can stay active, at your current rate, through the end of the year. You will still receive the monthly color guides, your 10% discount and have access to the live color parties.
When will memberships end on YourColorStyle.com
All memberships on YourColorStyle.com will cancel on December 31, 2021. You will no longer be charged a monthly fee. You will have access to all the content you have received to date. Starting January 1st, if you wish to continue being a ColorStyle Member, you will need to sign up on the Teachable platform.
What's so special about the Teachable platform?
For years, I have struggled with my current platform to provide you subscription products. There is no nice way to organize your downloads, to offer you different types of content and no easy to way to notify when there's new content. The experience is not what I want for you or for my team. I believe the new platform will be better for everyone.
When will I be able to sign up on Teachable?
I will open the site mid-June.
What content will be offered on the new platform?
You will still receive your 10% discount, the monthly color guides and have access to the monthly live calls. That all stays the same.

There will be a personal challenge related to this theme.
Catalog Review
Each month, I will flip through a clothing catalog of a particular brand. I will point out the trending colors, give ideas on clothing and color combinations, explain which items flatter different body types and inspire you with different ideas you might want to try. If you have stores you want me to flip through, please let me know so that I can get on their mailing list.
Colorful You Program: An Outside-In Lesson
This will be on a topic that is about how our external environment influences our mindset/mood/success/style. Each lesson will include an easy exercise for the month.

This will be on a topic that is about how our beliefs/thoughts influence our current results. Each lesson will include an easy exercise for the month.
Conversation and Sharing
Teachable allows for comments and sharing. This is perfect if you want to respond to a specific topic. Each month will have a conversation section to share on the monthly theme. And each Colorful You lesson will have a place to comment and share. There will also be a private Facebook group for those that are on Facebook and enjoy that environment.
