[Your Color Style] 🌼Marigold, Membership Special and more
Published: Thu, 08/12/21
Hello and happy Thursday!
The grey paint conundrum continues. We painted "Passive" in our kitchen and living room only to discover that it has a very strong blue undertone. More than what we wanted for our kitchen (too cool). So, we changed to "Greyish" for our stairwell and upstairs which has a strong purple undertone. Unexpected, but I really like it. The coolness seems to work well in the stairwell. However, the transition from blue Passive to purple Greyish is
not working for me. SO, Joe and I have been swatching and staring at other greys. We've narrowed it down to "Repose" and "Agreeable Grey". What can I say about them? They're grey. BUT they seem to be more neutral than the other two. So, we are likely going with Repose and are repainting the downstairs starting Monday. I can't believe we are repainting this floor. Well, I'm not physically doing it but still. The painter (my brother) thinks I'm crazy.

In the ColorStyle Membership, we've been talking about upgrading our environments so that they inspire us and not drain us. This is my attempt to decorate my main floor to inspire us... but the process is a bit draining. LOL

Marigold is a yellow-orange color. It is a bright color and looks best on individuals that can wear bright colors. Warm individuals can wear this color best. If it is too bright for you wear it as a bottom or accessory.

We help women wear their signature colors in creative ways that express who they truly are.
A few years ago, I found myself divorced, grieving over losing my oldest daughter and truly lost. I had forgotten what it was like to have true joy in my life. Did I ever really know? I didn't know who I was or what truly made me happy.
As I went through the process of learning about myself, I founded Your Color Style. Identifying the colors that make you feel amazing is a simple step you can take to build your confidence and self image. Color transformed my life. It is how I express ME. It is now my mission to help you connect to your true self and wear colors that make you shine... so that you can feel more like you again.
