Published: Thu, 07/15/21
Hello and happy colorful Thursday!
Â
Our LIVE call for ColorStyle Members is tomorrow night. I'm so excited! Make sure you're signed up on the new platform. The members define the agenda with their questions and photo submissions in the community.Â
Â
Here's what we will be talking about:
Answering Liz about summer clothes when you're SWD
Answering Jocelyn question about denim for different color types
Color analysis case study on Beth
Color analysis case study on Lisa
Answering Lisa on hazel eyes and taking a good selfie
How I'm playing with my printable color palette in my journal
Some updates to the site you may not know about
Answering questions live
And... I'm going to go check my Ask Jen account to find another color analysis case study
Did you know you can get personal feedback on your coloring from me inside of the ColorStyle membership? It's one of the many benefits of becoming a member.
Â
I see a lot of conversation around finding our personal style. What exactly is personal style?
Â
Personal style, in my opinion, is when you act and dress in alignment with your true self. This may seem vague and maybe even frustrating. What does that even mean?! Most people, maybe not you, but most people try to define their personal style by comparing themselves to other people. I want style like them. When you identify with
someone as having style, you naturally want to wear the kind of things they're wearing. But personal style is not JUST about the clothes you wear.
Â
When I think of someone that I recall as having great style, I can't remember what they were wearing. Not exactly. I might recall some bold color shoes, but not the entire outfit. The truth is that I remember that person because of their essence. I remember the air of confidence. I remember feeling like I wanted to talk to that person
all day. I was inspired by that person's energy and the feeling that they were perfectly comfortable being themselves.
Â
Your clothing style is going to change all the time. Trying to define your style is exhausting. It's putting boundaries around who you are. Wear the clothes that you really like. It's not the trend? Who cares! Be the person that is relaxed about who you are and that is what people will remember. They will remember YOU. And the more
comfortable you are being true to yourself, the more comfortable you will be in choosing colors and clothes that reflect who you are.

3 Ways to Wear Burnt Coral
NEW Printable Color Palettes
In Case you Missed It: Color Analysis Case Study – Dark Hair, Blue-Green Eyes
Next Live Color Party - July 16th, 2021 8:00pm EST
Burnt Coral is a medium warm pink. It looks best on individuals that can wear light and medium colors.  If it is too light for you wear it as a bottom or accessory.
Each color palette ebook has been designed in CMYK so that it will print well on your inkjet printer. There is a single page with all of the color squares plus a few pages with larger tiles that include the name and number of the color to match the color fan. Print, play and enjoy!
I'm not going to list them here because everything is explained in detail on the sign up page.
Â
If you are a current ColorStyle Member and want to move over to the new site, so that you can enjoy the new community platform and experience the new content starting NOW, then follow these steps:
Sign up on the new site
Cancel your current subscription (if you need help, email support@yourcolorstyle.com)
If you are a current ColorStyle Member and you don't want to move over to the new site...
That's ok. You don't have to. You can stay right where you are and continue to receive the monthly color guides and access the live monthly color parties. Nothing will change for you. BUT you won't have access to any of the new premium content.
The current ColorStyle Membership will expire on YourColorStyle.com December 31, 2021. At that time, if you chose to stay put, you will no longer be charged. You will no longer be an active member. But you will have access to everything you paid for up to that point.Â
The ColorStyle Membership is not ending. It is moving so that it can grow and provide you more exclusive content and benefits that we could not do with how it is set up today.Â
Â
I know I'm asking a lot to have you cancel your current membership and sign up on the new platform, but I hope you do. You'll have access to the members only community and the new content starting RIGHT NOW.
The recordings for December, January, February, March, May and June are in the members only area, if you missed them. If you would like to attend the live parties and/or watch the recordings, please consider joining the ColorStyle Membership. Your photo submissions to the Ask Jen page take priority over the other submissions. I will
pull 3 to 5 ColorStyle member submissions to review live at each party.
We help women discover their BEST colors so that they have the confidence and courage to express their authenticity by wearing the colors they LOVE.
Â
A few years ago, I found myself divorced, grieving over losing my oldest daughter and truly lost. I had forgotten what it was like to have true joy in my life. Did I ever really know? I didn't know who I was or what truly made me happy.Â
Â
As I went through the process of learning about myself, I founded Your Color Style. Identifying the colors that make you feel amazing is a simple step you can take to build your confidence. Color transformed my life. It is now my mission to help you get through whatever transition is going on in your life through color... so that you can feel more like you again.
Â
Rediscover:
Who you are
What truly brings you joy
Who you really want to be and to own it
How to stop being a certain way for someone else
How to express your true authentic self
Where do you start?
Â
LEARN What Colors Flatter You (aka Your Color Style Type)
I am a HUGE believer that the more you know about color, the more you know the colors that flatter you best. LEARNING is key to understanding what colors really work for you.Â
Once you know your color type, you'll want your complete color palette in your hand so that you can start to edit your wardrobe and shop with confidence.
