[Your Color Style] Gift Guide, Spring/Summer Colors and more
Published: Thu, 02/08/24
Happy Thursday!
I hope your week has had moments of joy.
Last night, I had the honor to host our Style Masters call with Gail. We had a lot of fun. Gail and I shared the trending colors for spring and summer, who can wear them best and HOW to wear them in some truly fun ways.
It was fun to see how my color combo recommendations compared to Gail's color combo recommendations. We make a great team and brought a ton of ideas to the members. You can watch a 20 minute preview of the call. Members can log in to see the who thing plus download their PDF.
This is what Style Masters is all about. There's an 11 module style program that can work through at your own pace. But the magic, in my opinion, are these live calls. These calls keep you up to date. You learn what to look for in the stores. You get timely style inspiration. Plus, you get to ask Gail and me questions. We LOVE questions. Watch the 20 minute preview.
Can I share something with you? I'll take silence as yes. ;)
10 years ago, I had
no clue about style or what colors I should wear. I had 3 small kids in my 20s and I was just grateful for private time in the potty. Moms, you know exactly what I mean. Learning your color palette and learning how to dress is important when it becomes important. For me, I discovered color analysis when I was looking for ways to improve my appearance. I was recently divorced. I was still adjusting to being a mom of 2. My oldest daughter, Kelley, had passed away from cancer about a year earlier.
I had put on weight and was probably a little depressed. I remember standing in front of my closet feeling lost. I was looking into a sea of beige. My closet was as colorless as I felt.
When I learned my colors, I remember feeling so excited. I couldn't wait to get my color swatches so that I could go shopping. I bought a coral pink blouse that I would never have picked
up before. But with my new colors, I tried it. And I got so many complements when I wore it. It felt so good.
As I studied color analysis more and explored my colors, I made a discovery. Wearing colors that flatter you isn't just about looking good. They have a profound impact on your confidence and how others perceive you.
When we color analyze you, our initial goal is to help you discover your color palette... but our mission is to help you show up in life with confidence and to be perceived the way you want. To empower you to make choices that feel good and authentic.
So, for Valentine's Day... I wanted
to share with you some gifts that you can give yourself. You deserve the gift of color... the gift of style... the gift of confidence.

This month's theme is wearing Orange. Peach Fuzz is the color of the year and there is a bright orange in the trending colors. Should be
a fun month of color inspiration. BUT we are a touch behind schedule. The first blog post about wearing orange will post in another day or so. Keep an eye out for it. I don't usually send the newsletter with a new blog post, but it's a busy couple of weeks for me and Gail. So.... life slowed us down a bit. Thank you for your patience!
Below are last week's posts for you to
take a look at.
The final post in our Ways to Wear Boots series! We are wrapping up with some tips on choosing boot color and legwear.
A long-standing rule was to not wear shoes or boots lighter than your hemline, but that is no longer ascribed to. However, wearing boots only somewhat lighter does work best.
