Happy Sunday! If you're in Virginia or the northeast... I already know you're battling the blizzard. I'm not sure what the official total of snow is for Ashburn, VA but there are snow drifts over 5 feet. See the fool in the snow
above? That's Matt... my 15 year old son. He thought it would be fun to throw himself into the giant pile of snow. I think it was about waist high at this point. It WAS fun until he realized he lodged himself into the snow and could not get out. At first, I thought he was joking. And I laughed and laughed at him.
But
as he lay there motionless for a little too long... and was like "Mom. Seriously. I can't move." I laughed some more. What an idiot. Mom-of-the-year right hear people!
I finally realized I had to pull his ass out. Since he had on MY snow pants and MY snow boots... I had the pleasure of pulling him out in pants and
shoes. He pulled me in before I could pull him out. I don't think I stopped laughing for an hour after the event.
There ya go. A little peek into my life! And now... onto the newsletter!
