Personal message form Jen

I don't typically send a separate message with the newsletter but I felt it was needed.
On a normal-crazy-busy week, I send my amazing assistant, Mandy, notes on what I want in the newsletter.
This week was different. I was sick with some sort of mild bug and then I chaperoned a group of 5 14 year old girls on a school field trip to Bush Gardens Williamsburg, VA. We got up at 3... Had very little sleep... Got to the school by 5. We left the school at 6:30 and a caravan of buses took the kids to the park. I drove on my own because I get horribly motion sick.
It poured all morning. Mindy's bus broke down. We finally start enjoying the park at 1.
It it was a blast. I rode the most terrifying roller coaster of my life. I had no idea it was that high!!!! My scream ran out and we were still falling!
Anyway, I decided around 3 that even though the field trip was over at 7, it didn't have to be over for me and Mindy.
So, I booked a hotel room and Mindy and I stayed. Just the 2 of us. It was amazing.
i don't know much but I do know that if you can make 1:1 time happen with your kids or really anyone important to you... Make it happen.
So, I didn't have the intro text for the newsletter. I asked Mandy to unschedule the newsletter.
This morning, after some much needed sleep, I decided... You'll forgive the lack of intro, so I sent the newsletter.
but I still wanted to say hi. So... Hi!
I also wanted to share a part of an email I received this morning...
