Happy Sunday! I swear I JUST wrote you...
this week flew by.
What's going on in your world? Do you celebrate Halloween? My kids will be their with Dad on Halloween, which is fine by me. They're in high school anyway and don't do the trick-or-treating thing. I am neutral on the holiday. I mean... I do love to get dressed up. And I love the Halloween
decorations. But it's just not my jam. So, Joe and I will go to one of our favorite breweries where there is tons of people watching in ridiculous costumes. Tons of fun!
This week went by so fast because I am publishing 16 brand new and updated style guides for you. 1 for each season. You will be receiving another
email from me to day announcing Light Spring, Soft Autumn Deep (Toned Autumn) and Soft Summer Light (Toned Summer). To follow right after that will be Soft Summer Deep (Shaded Summer), Soft Spring and Soft Winter.
These will be in addition to the 2015 style guides that were created for the 12 seasons.
Yes, Style Club Members will see these new style guides added to your membership. Yay!
Regarding the color wheels that you will see in this week's Color Theory video... I will have print-friendly color wheels for you by the end of the month. This means they are set up to work with CYMK
which is what your ink jet printer prints in. It won't be the most amazing print, but if you use a heavier nicer stock of paper, you'll be able to print your own color wheel! Let me know if this sounds like a good idea to you.
AND I need some ideas for this month's Style Q&A for the Style Club. I could do an in
depth color theory lesson. I was thinking of doing a style lesson on How To Dress ________ (fill in dramatic, casual, elegant, sophisticated, powerful, etc). What do you think?
Enjoy the newsletter and have an amazing week!
