Happy Sunday!
I'm in Florida for Spring Break!
We're off to Disney World in the morning! LOVE Disney. Yes, this is my third visit since August. We love it. :-)
Joe and I were listening to a podcast on the
way down and they were talking about headwinds and tailwinds. When we're in a tailwind... when things are challenging... we focus on how difficult this challenge is. Right? Like, if you're in really bad Spring Break traffic, you focus on how slow and congested the highway is. But in a tailwind, things are easy. In fact, you barely even notice the tailwind once things get easy.
What's the point? Notice when you're focused on your
headwinds. You will likely catch yourself complaining about your situation. Maybe you're complaining about your clothes or hair or something else. Or, say, you end up in a smoking room when you asked for non-smoking and the hotel is booked. When you catch yourself, consider what may be a tailwind you can be grateful for. Like the fact that you actually have clothes to complain about. Or that you have a bed to sleep in tonight. It's proven that gratitude can lead to a happier life and a
higher sense of self. So, let's get in the practice of being grateful the for the small things we can easily take for granted.
On a completely separate note, the color fans are ready to order. They're already at the printers and new orders starting today will ship the week of April 24th. Yay! You can order below.
I've been a bit preoccupied with getting the color fans out to the printer and
getting ready for vacation... but there is a lot coming. The members site is undergoing a new construction on a new domain. It is much easier to navigate and much easier for my team to manage and maintain. All important to improving your experience. I will also be adding in 12 weekly lessons to the Signature Club. You're gonna love it!
I'm also going to be introducing a style guide of the month club. This is still in the works but I hope to
launch it within the next couple of months.
As I said... there's a LOT coming! For now, enjoy the newsletter. The color of the week is periwinkle. LOVE this color.
*Hugs*
