Happy Hot Sunday,
Here in Virginia it is blazing hot today. And good news, Mindy's soccer team won their first game in their tournament, so we get to play today at 2:00 in 100 degree temp. Awesome. On turf which is about 10 degrees hotter. It's tough on the parents just standing and watching... and can't even imagine how
hot the players are. Lots of water today.
The new sites are up and running. I know that many of you had login issues. Seems that the passwords didn't transfer over smoothly. The blog is now at
YourColorStyle.com. The style club is now here.
Joe and I went out for wine and cheese on Thursday night, and we got to talking about the new courses I'm pulling together. Yes, we ideate all the time on new courses and products for you. I just released into the Signature Program "How To Create a Minimalistic All-Neutrals
Wardrobe" and "Designing and Creating Your Signature Color Palette". The neutrals course is by far my favorite course to date. I spent all last week wearing only my neutrals and it was so refreshing. No stress. Easy. Now, I'm on a high because I KNOW this course will free you from the closet jammed with stress and nothing-to-wear moments.
During our chat, Joe says "
My closet is full of clothes that are all in
my best colors but I still feel uninspired." Now, I can tell you that Joe must have 20 shirts. So, it's not like he doesn't have anything to wear. What he does is finds outfit ideas online and then buys the item that will make that outfit. Makes sense right? Many of you probably do the same thing with
ColorStyleGuides.com
My take on this is that he's been buying out of what he sees as necessity and not out of joy. There is not really one shirt that he's bought that he loves. Not one. And so, he feels uninspired. Knowing that a color is right for you is really only the first step. Creating that collection of clothes that inspires you... that makes you smile and feel good... that's the magic. If you don't love it and feel good in it, don't buy it. We go deep into this concept
in the
Signature Style Program. If this story resonates with you, join us!
*Hugs*
