Good morning from Virginia!
I'm about to go for my long run this morning. 6 miles today. I'm looking forward to it... it's my meditation. Lots of ideas get drummed up during my longer runs.
May I ask you a question? Your answers help me know what content to create
for you. I want to make sure that what I share with you is helping you.
Question: What is your biggest struggle with getting dressed?
And no smarty pants, I don't mean that you can't pull your skinny jeans on because they magically got smaller. Hey, that's happened to me, but that's a completely different issue.
I mean...
nothing to wear? too many things to wear? no ideas? uninspired? Share with me your story. How did you find me? Why are you here? What are you hoping to learn?
I can't wait to hear your responses! Just reply to this email. And thank you in advance for trusting me.
There's a lot in this newsletter this week, so be sure to scroll down and see
everything.
But first... I want to share a quick story with you!
In the Travel Capsule Wardrobe course, I chose a charcoal grey t-shirt dress for my Italy trip. And I had put on my wish list a beige long cardi. As you may recall from last week's newsletter, I found a cardi in the style I love but it is cream and navy. It almost looks grey and definitely translates as a neutral. Bonus!
Well, it works really well with a soft black t-shirt dress that I totally forgot about. Not so great with the grey dress. BUT I discovered that I like the soft black dress way better than the grey one. See ya grey dress. I wore the black t-shirt dress with white sneaks and silver jewelry for date night... and I looked super cute. The dress has now become a member of my everyday capsule and my Italy travel capsule.
On Wednesday, I had to take
my son to traffic court for a speeding ticket. I wore the t-shirt dress again with my new cardi! It looked great! Win! I've also worn the cardi with a peach t-shirt and white shorts and that looked great too. So, I'm in love with my 2 "new" additions to my capsule wardrobes. That's how you should feel about every item you add to your wardrobe. Love wearing it. Feel good in it. And get rid of something you only keep around for really no good reason.
*Hugs*
Jen
PS. My son's speeding ticket will be dismissed after he completes a driver safety course.
