Yesterday, Joe and I went to the store to order our wedding bands. Soooo happy. :-)
And, of course, we did a little shopping. Joe is so much fun to shop with. He has an excellent eye.
Sure enough, as we're browsing some of the new arrivals, the new Pantone colors are
everywhere. Golden lime tops, Pants in all of the above.
Joe spied a pair of pants in the ballet slipper. He said "Wow, that's a great look, but what would you wear it with?"
Ballet slipper is this pale cool pink that a person with warm undertones can't wear as a top. You'll definitely want to have cool undertones to wear Ballet slipper well. But anyone can wear it as a
bottom.
But still... what colors, besides grey or black, go with Ballet Slipper?
I was like "Oh! So, I just finished the color combos for this color for the Bright and Warm! Let me show you!"
So, we spent the next hour grabbing other colors I had in mind and pairing them with Ballet Slipper.
It was cute because Joe was like "Oh no, not that color. Oh! Wow! I never thought of that combo. Hmmm, that would work with a little grey added." Etc.
It was a blast and so inspiring. We walked away with BETTER ideas than I had originally and I can NOT wait to get these color books into your hands.
I'm getting an initial quote from the
printer this week, and I hope to get the proofs by first week of September. As soon as I know the official print date, I will open up for pre-orders.
These will be a limited run. Once they're gone, they're gone.
As for this week's newsletter...
as you may or may not know, I was on a cruise with Joe and the kids in Italy, France
and Spain and was out of the office for 10 days.
I'm a little behind on things. My team has been phenomenal in picking up the slack. I couldn't have enjoyed my vacation without them.
A few things you will see this week... 2 ColorStyleMe videos. 7 online color analysis case studies in each. Signature program, I will be setting up a webinar for us the first week of
September.
If you didn't see this week's email with content, I've put a repeat below. Enjoy!
