I've been reading the book "The 5 Second Rule". I love this book and its concept. It's written by Mel Robbins and she shares her method on overcoming fear, increasing productivity, and ultimately becoming the best versions of ourselves. I highly recommend this book.
To sum it up... we make decisions to do something within 5 seconds. If we don't act on our instincts within 5 seconds, our brains begin to talk us out of it. Our feelings get in the way and we are masters at sabotaging our success.
I can't tell you how many times I've chosen not to get out and run or walk because I felt tired. If I had made the decision to do it within 5 seconds, I would have not talked myself out of getting much needed exercise.
It works like this. When you are faced with a decision that you know will better your
life... count BACKWARDS: 5... 4... 3... 2... 1 and then physically move. Do something on the one. Do it before your brain kicks in and says... whoa there. I feel uncomfortable. Let's not do that and stay the same.
A client wrote me recently and shared...
"I finally took the plunge and bought a color analysis, and my only regret is I didn't do it, sooner. What a huge blessing I've been missing, trying to figure myself out, and doing everything alone. "
We only regret what we don't do...
Have you been thinking about signing up for a color analysis so that you can stop guessing and FINALLY know your colors? How great will it feel to finally know what colors to avoid and what colors will make you glow?
Maybe it's time to stop THINKING about it.
*hugs*
